Bible Verses
________________for the Mind

All four verses come from the Apostle Paul. Paul, also known as Saul of Tarsus, was one of the most villainous men of the Bible until he was converted
on the road to Damascus. Paul would later write about one-third of the New Testament. These four verses are about the mind:

"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love,
and of a sound mind." (2 Timothy 1:7).

"Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that
turn from the truth. Unto the pure all things are pure:
but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even
their mind and conscience is defiled. They profess that they know God;
but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and
unto every good work reprobate." (Titus 1:14-16).

"Serving the Lord with all humility of mind, and with many tears; and
temptations, which befell me by the lying in wait of the Jews:
And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have
shewed you, and have taught you publickly, and from house to house,
testifying both to Jews, and also to the Gentiles, repentance toward
God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ."
(Acts 20:19-21).

"For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life
and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God:
for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be."
(Romans 8:6&7).
