Place of the Ark of the Covenant

1. The first place to house the Ark of the Covenant after it had been constructed by the specifications given by Moses was in the Wilderness during Exodus. It was carried by specifications then at some point around Mount Sinai a tent was built known as a Tabernacle by certain specifications to house the Ark of the Covenant.

2. The second place to harbor the Ark of the Covenant was after crossing the Jordan river during the time of Joshua at some point it was housed in a special tent at Shiloh which is a town north of Jerusalem. It stayed in Shiloh until the time of King David which it was moved to Jerusalem on Mount Moriah where a tent also known as a Tabernacle had been specially prepared.

3. After king David one of his son's Solomon became king and constructed the first permanent house known as the Temple on Mount Moriah to house the Ark of the Covenant. This was a grand spectacular construction known as Solomon's Temple.

4. After king Solomon and then after the many kings of Judah then came the Babylonian conquest which the Babylonians destroyed Solomon's Temple which was on Mount Moriah. However, the Ark of the Covenant was not in The Temple at that time. For directly before the siege by the Babylonians the Ark of the Covenant was taken by the Cherubims from heaven to the third heaven as described in Ezekiel chapters 1:21&10:18-19.

5. When the Babylonian captivity was over which had lasted seventy years the Jews who returned to the land of Israel sought to rebuild a Temple which was oversaw by two Jews named Joshua and Zerubbabel. This Temple was constructed on Mount Moriah but was not grand nor spectacular as Solomon's Temple but God still loved the Temple eventhough it was as "small things" in Zechariah 4:10. This second Temple is the same Temple which existed during the time of Christ. There had been done some renovations over the years on this Temple since the original construction during it's lifetime sometime after 457 B.C. and this Temple never contained the Ark of the Covenant for that had been taken to heaven directly before the Babylonian invasion in 526 B.C.

6. This Temple being considered the second Temple while Solomon's Temple was the first Temple, this second Temple was destroyed in 70 A.D. by the Roman Empire the invasion was lead by the Roman general Titus. There has not been a Jewish Temple on Mount Moriah since that time of 70 A.D. to this day in the year 2023.

7. The current location of the Ark of the Covenant is in the temple of God in the third heaven. This is explained in the book of Revelation after the opeining of the seven seals at the seventh trumpet: "And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail." Revelation 11:19. So the true Ark of the Covenant is currently in the third heaven and has been ever since directly before the Babylonian invasion of Judah when it was taken up to heaven in Ezekiels vision. Ezekiels vision entails Ezekiel in Babylon in captivity as in all of Ezekiel chapters one and ten describing the vision. This vision describes the "mercy seat" which is the lid of pure gold of the Ark of the Covenant which there are two golden cheribum on the lid and that this vision entails that real Cherubim came down to earth from heaven for something specific then went back up as in verse Ezekiel 1:21&10:18-19. Why would not the Rabbis and the priests had moved the Ark of the Covenant out of Solomon's Temple before the impending invasion and then hid the ark of the covenant as some believe it is unfound or secret today. Well, in fact it looks like that is not the case and that the Cherubim came down to earth and took the Ark of the Covenant out of Solomon's Temple and also to note that the Jews and the priests at that time were all in the occult and worshipping the Sun, and in secret societies as in Ezekiel 8:16.

8. Now in the future sometime directly before the start of the three and one-half year great tribulation the Jews will build a third Temple for this is the prophecy that the beast enters this third Temple as stated: "Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God." 2 Thessalonians 2:3&4. A question could be that when the temple of God is opened in heaven what does it mean for the Ark of the Covenant which being also in heaven at this time: does it miraculously appear in the Holy of Holies in the third Temple, or does the Ark of the Covenant stay in the temple of God in heaven thus meaning the Holy of Holies in the third Temple stays empty as was the case with the second Temple. Also about the construction of this third Temple to be in the future is stated in the book of Revelation: "And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therin. But the court which is without the temple leave out and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months." Revelation 11:1&2. This is describing the fact that in the future the third Temple and the altar will be built by the Jews and nothing else on the outer court of Mount Moriah.

9. This website does believe the Ark of the Covenant does stay in the temple of God in the third heaven because nowhere does the Bible imply that the Ark of the Covenant comes back down to earth. As stated before the Ark of the Covenant was taken by the Cherubim directly before the Babylonian invasion about 526 B.C. out of the grand spectacular Temple of Solomon and the Ark of the Covenant will never be back on earth again as stated and implied in the book of Jeremiah: "And it shall come to pass, when ye be multiplied and increased in the land, in those days, saith the Lord, they shall say no more, The ark of the covenant of the Lord: neither shall it come to mind: neither shall they remember it; neither shall they visit it; neither shall that be done any more." Jeremiah 3:16. Also meaning the Ark of the Covenant or another one of these on earth will not be viable again.
"And the cher'ubims were lifted up. This is the living creature that I saw by the river of Che'bar.
And when the cher'ubims went, the wheels went by them: and when the cherubims lifted up their wings
to mount up from the earth, the same wheels also turned not from beside them. When they stood,
these stood; and when they were lifted up, these lifted up themselves also: for the spirit of the
living creature was in them. Then the glory of the Lord departed from off the threshold of the house,
and stood over the cher'ubims. And the cher'ubims lifted up their wings, and mounted up from the
earth in my sight: when they went out, the wheels also were beside them, and every one stood at the
door of the east gate of the Lord's house; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above."
           Ezekiel 10:15-19.

10. The third Temple will most likely not be standing at the very end of the three and one-half year great tribulation because of the seventh vial judgement in the book of Revelation:
"And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out
of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done. And there were voices, and
thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men
were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great. And the great city was divid-
ed into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came into
remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his
wrath. And every island fled, away and the mountains were not found. And there fell upon
men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about a weight of a talent: and men blasphem-
ed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great."
             Revelation 16:17-21.
So after the great tribulation the one thousand year-reign of Jesus Christ will begin forty-five days afterwards (side note: 1335-1290 Daniel 12:11-12), and a fourth Temple as prophecied in the book of Ezekiel will be built at some time in these days. The entire complex of this building upon Mount Moriah is specifically described in the book of Ezekiel known as Ezekiels Temple which is of the future for the one thousand year-reign. The chapters specifically explaining this are Ezekiel chapters 40-43. The Holy of Holies which is also called the Most Holy Place is and was a perfect cube of twenty cubits on all sides which is about 30 feet on all sides as stated in Ezekiel 41:4&10.

11. When the thousand year-reign comes to the end then the things of this earth will be burnt up; and a New Earth will be created in which the place of a New Jerusalem a moon-type levitating anti-gravity type city will be placed for the new earth. This city will be a perfect cube of twelve thousand furlongs on all sides which is about 1500 miles cube on all sides as is stated in Revelation 21:16.
